PITTSBURGH, Aug. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I have back problems, which leads to pain when I stand for long periods of time," said one of two inventors from Indianapolis, Ind. "As a result, I find ironing difficult because I need to stand the whole time. This led me to develop an ironing board that I can use while seated."
They created a prototype for the patent pending AXIS IRONING BOARD to offer a more convenient way to iron clothing. The design enables the user to iron items while seated. This eliminates the need to stand for an extended period of time, which reduces physical stress and strain. The ironing board is thereby ideal for use by individuals with limited mobility. In addition, the unit is designed for space-saving storage.
The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
