PITTSBURGH, Jan. 10, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- "I was tired of the cold blast of water at the start of a shower and also wanted an easy means to stop the flow of water between shampooing and conditioning," said an inventor from New York City, N.Y. This inspired me to develop an improved showerhead system incorporating a control valve."
She developed the WATER MATE to provide a simple and easy to operate means to regulate the flow from a shower fixture. It may prevent scald related injuries as well as being subjected to a cold blast of water. Additionally, this invention could increase the level of luxury while showering.
The showerhead is designed to be easily adjustable with pan/tilt operation (right/left/up/down). Many variations are producible. It would be ideal for households, hotels/motels, housing developers, hospitals, home developers and building developers.
The original design was submitted to the Manhattan office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
