PITTSBURGH, June 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I was watching a commercial about a carbon-monoxide detector that spoke," said an inventor from Murrayville, Ill. "This inspired me to take a similar approach to scanning a child's bedroom for monsters so that the child could sleep peacefully without worrying about monsters."
He developed the MONSTER DETECTOR to provide a way to "scan" a room for monsters. This puts the fears of children at ease. It reassures the child that there are no monsters in the room, under the bed, in the closet, etc. The device helps children feel safe at bedtime, which enables children to sleep more comfortably and peacefully. In addition, the invention keeps parents from being awakened at night by a frightened child worried that there is a monster in the room.
