PITTSBURGH, Aug. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I wanted to help prevent accidents involving emergency vehicles," said an inventor from Gary, Ind. "I thought that something could be done to help the drivers of emergency vehicles get where they need to be more quickly and safely so that they could render assistance."
He developed the TRAFFIC SIGNAL CHANGER to ensure that an intersection is clear as an emergency vehicle approaches. This reduces the risk of collisions with other vehicles. The system provides ample time for other motorists to yield so that the EV can proceed to its destination. The invention helps to improve response time. It also makes it easier for the drivers of EVs to navigate busy roadways. Additionally, the system is designed to enhance roadway safety.
The original design was submitted to the Charlotte office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
