PITTSBURGH, July 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- It's important to allow small electric appliances, like styling irons, to cool down before storing them in an enclosed area. For this reason, an inventor from Round Rock, Texas, conceived of an easy way to do this without risk of damage to nearby surfaces.
She developed FLAT IRON RACK to keep hot styling irons from coming in contact with bathroom surfaces. As such, it prevents heat damage and discoloration to countertops and other surfaces, eliminating premature counter top replacement costs. At the same time, it is safe, heatproof, sturdy and attractive. What's more, this lightweight, compact and easy to use unit remains firmly in place. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.
The inventor's personal experience inspired the idea. "I was concerned about the discoloration of my bathroom counter top caused by the heat from my flat iron resting on it and wanted a better place to set the hot iron to let it cool down," she said.
