PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "I was in a car accident that broke our back window," said one of two inventors from Round Lake, Ill. "We shopped around for a product to safely cover the broken window and could not find anything. This inspired us to create a quick and easy way to temporarily cover a broken window."
They created a prototype for the SOBIE TEMPORARY WINDOW KIT to create a temporary protective barrier over a broken window. This prevents wind, rain, debris, etc., from entering the vehicle through the damaged window. The accessory allows the vehicle to be driven comfortably and safely until the window can be professionally replaced. It is adaptable for use with both new and existing vehicles. The kit also is usable as a temporary covering for a window that gets stuck and will not roll up all the way closed. Furthermore, it is easy to attach and remove.
