PITTSBURGH, Aug. 27, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "When I used to play baseball, I would bounce balls off the house to practice my fielding skills," said an inventor from Blair, S.C. "Now that I am the proud grandparent of four boys, I wanted to help them improve their skills as well, which led me to develop this training aid."
He developed the FUNDAMENTAL/PRO PERFORMER to help players develop common and advanced baseball skills for all age groups. The design allows for solo skill practice without the need for other individuals. It enables players to practice catching and fielding balls from a variety of angles. The device also lets a pitcher practice throwing without a catcher present. All of this is designed to enhance in-game performance. Additionally, the invention is suitable for indoor/outdoor use.
The original design was submitted to the Columbia office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
