PITTSBURGH, Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "We hated how much of a hassle using a measuring tape could be, especially when making vertical measurements or extended horizontal measurements, as the blade was unsupported," said one of two inventors from E Palatka, Fla. "We came up with this idea to solve the problem."
They created a prototype for the MEASURING TOOL to ensure that the blade is well supported while making measurements. The device prevents the blade from collapsing while trying to make and read measurements. The accessory eliminates the need to ask for assistance with holding the blade up. It allows measurements to be made more easily and accurately. The unit puts an end to the usual hassles and frustrations. In addition, the invention is designed for maximum efficiency.
The original design was submitted to the Orlando office of InventHelp. It is currently patent pending and available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
