(NASDAQ: ISBC) ("Company") and Marathon Banking Corporation jointly announced today the completion of Investors Bancorp, Inc.'s acquisition of Marathon Banking Corporation effective as of the close of business October 15, 2012. The combined institution has approximately $12.4 billion in assets, $8.7 billion in deposits and 100 branch locations.
