Data from Insight, the new market analysis platform from IG, show positive sentiment around UK banking stocks by users of its spread betting and CFD services. As full year results are set to be reported for both RBS and Lloyds Banking Group next week, IG's customer base are overwhelmingly long on the stocks, with 90% of trades expecting RBS's price to rise, compared with 91% for Lloyds Banking Group.
