iPad Kiosk Combines Display, Mounting and Security in One Simple Device
SEATTLE, Dec. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- As the iPad becomes increasingly popular in churches, gyms, schools, trade show displays and just about every kind of business, the need for a way to securely mount an iPad without interfering with its signal strength or screen display has become obvious. Now, after two decades of manufacturing locks and mounts, Tryten Technologies Inc. (http://www.tryten.com) has come up with the solution: The iPad Kiosk (http://www.tryten.com/products/iPad-Kiosk.html).

Tryten Technologies put its lock manufacturing expertise to work when designing the iPad Kiosk. Tryten's engineering team created a proprietary five-pin, pick-resistant keyed locking mechanism that is discreet and easy to use. For users with more than one iPad, the iPad Kiosk can be custom keyed to allow one master key to lock all of the devices.
The iPad Kiosk can be mounted to the wall or any flat surface and displays the iPad in portrait or landscape orientation. Small and lightweight, the Kiosk is surprisingly strong: No matter how many fingers swipe or press on the iPad, the iPad Kiosk won't wiggle or move.
Two different faceplates give iPad Kiosk users more flexibility in how they display the device. To focus more attention on the presentation, users may opt to keep the camera and home buttons covered with the closed home/camera faceplate. If it's important to allow viewers or students full access to the iPad, the user can simply switch to the open home/camera faceplate. Both faceplates are included with every iPad Kiosk.
"We set out to provide an iPad mount that was easy to set up, highly secure and aesthetically pleasing," stated Michael Fairbanks, president of Tryten Technologies Inc. "The iPad Kiosk engages audiences, keeps the iPad totally secure, and even makes it easy to charge an iPad while it's in the Kiosk. No matter how an organization uses the iPad, the iPad Kiosk will enhance and protect the device."
In fact, the uses for Apple's pioneering tablet are myriad. It's clear the iPad isn't going anywhere -- particularly if it's mounted on an iPad Kiosk.
