Iris Mobile Redefines Relationship Management One Customer at a Time with a Behavioral Data Analytics SaaS Platform and Personalized Content Recommendation Engine
Company Development Led By New CEO Marc Grabowski
CHICAGO, Oct. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Iris Mobile – which specializes in building relationships between consumers and brands – is changing the course of marketing with a new mobile customer relationship management (CRM) and software as a service (SaaS) platform. The technology platform analyzes scores of behavioral data from two-way conversations, garnered through messaging. It uses this data to recommend targeted content for brands to engage each individual customer—based on their unique tastes—in order to create long-term, quantifiable relationships.
Guiding this latest development is Iris Mobile's new CEO, Marc Grabowski, an ad tech veteran of 20 years. Grabowski spent nearly two years as COO of Nanigans—a Facebook strategic preferred marketing developer—building up the organization's sales, marketing, and operations teams, and honing its advertising optimization technology. As Vice President of Media Sales at Yahoo, his team generated $1 billion of annualized revenue, and he played a key role in the Right Media and Interclick acquisitions and integrations.
"As investment has increased in messaging apps like Snapchat and WhatsApp, and more time is spent on mobile versus desktop computers, it's only natural that brands want to engage with customers in conversation there," said Grabowski. "But they have to earn the right to engage in such an intimate medium and allow customers to set the tone for communication."
Iris Mobile (Iris) uses messaging to produce two-way mobile conversations that brands can use to understand more about their customers. The platform collects unique customer identifiers through an integrated opt-in messaging strategy using the company's proprietary Rich Media Messaging (RMM) technology. The data collected through these conversations along with the unique identifiers, or the mobile data assets, represent each customer's particular preferences. Using these along with predictive analytics, Iris informs brands on how to market to each unique current and potential client. Custom content is then developed for these customers, and long-term mutual relationships are formed.
"We enable direct, personalized communication between customers and brands, but on a massive scale," added Grabowski. "Now brands can acquire personal, actionable data through one-to-one conversations, and cater to each customer's unique needs across multiple marketing touch points."
Iris Mobile–which has produced several award-winning mobile marketing campaigns for large retail clients—including EXPRESS, H&M, Wet Seal, Avenue and IKEA–initially enhanced brands' and customers' mobile conversations with its RMM technology. RMM delivers fully optimized rich content, including images and video, to 98 percent of devices. On average, it produces a 35 percent redemption rate for Iris Mobile clients.
"Our goal from the start has been to increase the efficiency and decrease the fragmentation of mobile advertising," said Cezar Kolodziej, Iris Mobile's President and co-founder. "RMM has already made strides there. Now this platform evolution puts the data, personalized content and power of conversation directly in our client's hands, and helps them capitalize on each customers' maximum lifetime value."
The mobile CRM SaaS platform will be introduced today on Iris Mobile's website, and existing clients will immediately benefit from its advancements. For more information, visit www.irismobile.com.
