
Isilon Appoints Eric Brodersen as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development
Former Quantum Senior Vice President Brings Proven History of Leading Strategic, Partner-Driven Marketing and Sales Strategies to Isilon's Executive Team
SEATTLE, July 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Isilon® (Nasdaq: ISLN) today announced that Eric Brodersen has been appointed as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, reporting directly to Isilon CEO Sujal Patel. Brodersen will focus on creating strategic partner relationships and further integrating Isilon's marketing and sales operations to deliver complete scale-out storage and data management solutions for the enterprise. Brodersen was formerly Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Quantum, where he developed and implemented a global, partner-driven sales strategy that generated more than $680 million in fiscal year 2010. Prior to his role in sales leadership, Brodersen served as Quantum's Vice President of Marketing, overseeing the company's marketing strategy during its acquisition and integration of ADIC.

Prior to leading Quantum's worldwide sales strategy, Brodersen served as Senior Vice President for Quantum's EMEA and APAC sales operations, from 2007-2009. Prior to his role in sales leadership, Brodersen served as Vice President of Marketing for Quantum, where he led the company's marketing strategy during its acquisition and integration of ADIC in 2006. Prior to the acquisition, Brodersen held numerous sales and marketing leadership positions at ADIC. Brodersen holds a B.A. in Government from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
