JERUSALEM, April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The Love for Israel Relief Fund (LIRF) issued its 2016 report on lobbying efforts against the so-called "Sex Slave" industry in Israel. The report asserts that such lobbying efforts in the Knesset (Israeli parliament) would criminalize men-only who solicit prostitutes. The proposed amendment would not outlaw prostitution in Israel nor protect kidnapped women from the sex industry. The LIRF report asserts that it is simply another attack on the overwhelming majority of innocent Israeli men – including fathers who have nothing to do with prostitution or human trafficking.

A representative from the Jerusalem Institute for Justice (JIJ) attended the latest meeting of the Knesset Subcommittee on Human Trafficking and Prostitution in Israel on March 22nd. The JIJ is still attempting to push legislation that the LIRF report describes as "demonizing Israeli men". The LIRF report identifies the JIJ as an organization that raises funds from Evangelical Christians to support such radical feminist agendas.
One of the JIJ's founders was Michal Cafrey-Yardeni, who also sits on the board of directors for the Israel Women's Network, a radical feminist organization in Israel. Radical feminism claims that all men are potential abusers and all women are potential victims. Such organizations have successfully lobbied implementation of numerous policies that exploit women as victims to break up traditional Israeli families.
LIRF researchers also discovered notable Evangelicals who have served on the JIJ board of directors. This includes Cary Summers, president of the Museum of the Bible - a subsidiary of Hobby Lobby. Another was Jeffrey Royer from the International Fellowship of Christians & Jews (IFCJ) and general partner of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The LIRF report explains that conservative American Christians would never support radical feminist agendas to break up traditional families in the United States. However, organizations like the JIJ and IFCJ invoke Genesis 12:1-3 to manipulate American Christians to "bless" Israel by giving money to their specific organizations. Unfortunately, the results have had a devastating impact on Israeli families according to the LIRF's 10-year study. The LIRF report suggests donors should be careful to financially support only Israeli organizations that they verified as sharing their own values.
