NEW YORK, May 7, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- iStar Financial Inc. (NYSE: SFI) announced today that it has launched an offering, subject to market and other conditions, of $250 million of unsecured Senior Notes due July 2016. The Company intends to use the net proceeds of the offering to redeem its $97 million aggregate principal amount of 8.625% unsecured Senior Notes due June 2013 and the remainder of the net proceeds to redeem a portion of its 5.95% unsecured Senior Notes due October 2013.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays and J.P. Morgan are the joint book-running managers for the offering. The notes will be issued pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement that was previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
