Ituran Location and Control Ltd Gives Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

Ituran Location and Control Ltd. (NASDAQ: ITRN , TASE: ITRN), announced today that an extra ordinary general meeting of shareholders of Ituran Location and Control Ltd. (the "Company") will be held at the Company's headquarters located at 3 Hashikma Street, Azour, Israel, on September 11, 2012, at 14:30 p.m. local time for the following purpose:

1. To approve the remuneration to be paid to Mr. Ze'ev Koren for serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company commencing as of November 15, 2011, as more fully described in the proxy statement.

Only shareholders of record on August 6, 2012 are entitled to receive notice of and vote at the Annual Meeting.
