Jason Cohen of That's How We Roll, LLC Wins EY New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year
FAIRFIELD, N.J., July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- That's How We Roll, LLC would like to announce Co-Founder Jason Cohen received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 Award in the Excellence in Emerging category in the New Jersey region. Cohen was selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of previous award recipients, prominent CEOs, private capital investors and other regional business leaders at a special gala event at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick on Thursday, June 26.
In 2011, Jason launched his third successful food venture. After selling his first two companies, Mamma Says™ and Sensible Portions™, to large, publicly traded companies, Jason launched Rickland Orchards™, a Greek yogurt snack brand that was sold to B&G Foods, Inc. (BGS) in October 2013. His goal-to create a healthy, best-in-class, better-for-you treat for U.S. Consumers-was supported by carefully sourced ingredients and an original approach.
"I am humbled and honored to accept such a prestigious award, as I said in my acceptance speech this was all possible by having a great supportive team to share these accomplishments," said Jason Cohen
Importing a proprietary formula for shelf-stable Greek yogurt from Europe, Jason applied it to an all-natural granola, fruit and nut-based bar, filling a market void in the protein snack industry. Jason remains dedicated to guaranteeing quality and value to the consumer.
Today, Rickland Orchards™ enjoys booming annual sales and is staying ahead of the curve with even more product innovations. Jason is also a partner in Skinny Pop Popcorn™ and Party 'Tizers Dippin' Chips™ and looks forward to helping other emerging entrepreneurs in NJ.
