JCP&L Storm Restoration Work Continues
Free Water and Ice Available to JCP&L Customers Without Power
MORRISTOWN, N.J., July 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) utility crews continue working to restore service to customers who remain without power after strong storms moved through its New Jersey service areas last night. Overall, more than 40,000 customers lost power due to the severe weather.
Beginning at 6:00 p.m. this evening and lasting until tomorrow at noon, JCP&L customers who remain without power can pick up water and ice free of charge at the following locations:
