Jeff Kohn - Hoka Hey Challenger - Endorses Safe Ride!
FORT MYERS, Fla., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Powersport Innovations is proud to officially announce that Jeffrey E. Kohn, Hoka Hey Challenger, endorses Safe Ride. Paul Grzebielucha, President and CEO of Powersport Innovations, states, "We at Powersport Innovations are excited to have Jeff as a spokesperson for Safe Ride - a true life-saving device. Jeff is committed to biker safety and is excited to be equipped with the Safe Ride life-saving technology. He wouldn't ride from Key West, Florida to Homer, Alaska during his 7,000 mile journey starting June 20th of this year without Safe Ride. We feel honored to have Jeff a part of the Safe Ride team."
Jeff states, "It's of great relief knowing that I have Safe Ride watching my back. The Hoka Hey Challenge is a $500,000 winner-take-all event with 1,000 Harley Davidson Bikers entering." Challengers will be coming from all over the world to ride in this epic event. The course will take them across 62 Mountain Ranges, 33 Indian Reservations, 25 National Forests, 8 Deserts, 6 National Parks, 4 Swamps and 2 Countries before they reach their destination. Jeff also states, "I'm in it to win it!"
The groundbreaking Safe Ride system includes a microprocessor-controlled G force sensing module. As a motorcyclist throttles down or decelerates, the micro processor provides power to the LED. When engaged, the red LED strobes, gaining surrounding drivers' full attention and helping them take timely corrective action and avoid collisions. This advanced warning system works with any reduction of speed, such as downshifting or sudden throttle reductions, as well as when the brakes are applied. This is a drastic improvement over other systems that only work if the brake is applied.
Extremely durable, the system is fully water-, shock- and vibration-proof. With marine-grade wire and epoxy-embedded circuitry, it can withstand harsh weather conditions. Safe Ride comes with installation instructions and is simple to install. With an industry-leading 3-year unconditional replacement warranty, the product is available in several models and can be purchased with or without the LED product. The Safe Ride product draws minimal power from the power source of only 170 milliamps and is totally independent of the brake system.
Paul Grzebielucha, president and CEO of Powersport Innovations, states, "This product continues our work to provide innovative products that will help save lives. We are dedicated to helping reduce the nearly 5,000 lives that are lost yearly in the USA alone, many due to motorcyclists being hit from behind."
