SALT LAKE CITY, March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Launching later this year entrepreneur and micro-philanthropist Jennifer Robyn Burkinshaw of Utah is out to make a difference. Robyn has been active in helping to fight foreclosure defense cases where a homeowner in and around the Salt Lake City, Utah region was at risk of losing their home.
Thanks to her help she has saved over 1,000 homeowners from losing their homes due to financial constraints that they previously had. Her newest charitable endeavor is aimed at raising money and awareness for those who have become homeless as a result of foreclosure. According to the FDIC: "Every three months, 250,000 new families enter into foreclosure."
Even worse 38% of those at risk of foreclosure are scared to do anything, 35% are depressed, and 8% are embarrassed and thus do not say anything. Thanks to these issues there was motivation behind Burkinshaw's charitable endeavor to keep homeowners inside of their house.
This charitable endeavor is strictly aimed at building awareness about the growing problem of foreclosures. While we just got over the largest financial crisis in history and many homeowners were forced out at the hands of many complex issues if we get together we can help to lower this issue for the next financial crisis that occurs in our country.
The charity will be announcing events that will be held in late 2014 that will include charity dinners with guest speakers with proceeds going to help aid those at risk of losing their homes. This is a big problem and luckily there are good people in this world like Jennifer Robyn Burkinshaw that are out there to help those in need.
