In a departure from their past efforts, as well as the campaigns normally seen in the pizza category, Jet's Pizza® decided it was time to make their advertising less about them, and more about their customers.
Dubbed the "Let's" campaign, the new advertising effort originates from their long-standing tagline, "Life is short. Eat Better Pizza®. Let's get Jet's®." But now, the emphasis is more about the "Let's" than on the "Jet's®."
"To us, the "Let's" campaign is about inclusion. "Let's" is about being with friends, family, teammates and others. The new ad campaign holds true to Jet's Pizza's® origins. The recipe they use today was created by the mother of Jet's® founders, Eugene and John Jetts, and served at the family table. They haven't changed that recipe in the 38 years they've been in business. Pizza night was a great night at the Jett's home, and the new campaign looks to further that feeling of warmth, togetherness and sharing a great meal.
The "Let's" campaign will be kicked off with seven new TV spots featuring people enjoying Jet's Pizza® together in a wide range of situations and circumstances. That there is less talk about the pizza itself and more emphasis on what pizza means in peoples' everyday lives is a new twist on the category. And given the company's heritage, it's one that Jet's Pizza® can own.
