JiMari Incorporated Plans To Control Supply in Stone Fruit Industry with Innovative Product Lines
HOLLISTER, Calif., July 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- JiMari Incorporated, a privately held corporation formed on March 2, 2017, intends to capitalize on an underserved opportunity in the California stone fruit industry by acquiring and managing specialty orchards and strategic farm packers in the stone fruit sector.
With JiMari's first acquisition of B&R Farms, as of April 21, 2017, JiMari now owns the largest Blenheim apricot farm in California and has an unparalleled opportunity to control the supply of the rare Blenheim apricot. By acquiring new apricot orchards, not only will they control the supply of the rare Blenheim dried apricot and the fresh frozen puree product line, JiMari is also taking innovation to the next level by using the apricot pit and kernel to produce new product lines for anti-aging, cosmetics, and healing industries.
"We believe in using every element of the apricot, which has led us to more opportunities," said JiMari CEO Jim White. "By using the apricot's pit, we are able to offer a greater variety of high-quality products to consumers."
The B&R acquisition enabled JiMari to immediately control its own line of bulk and packaged dried apricots and other product lines. B & R Farms is a California limited liability company formed in 2010 by Jim and Mari Rossi, a family with an 85-year history in Blenheim apricot manufacturing and sales. JiMari is owned primarily by the founders of B & R Farms, Jim and Mari Rossi, who, along with Jim White, make up the Company's executive team, operating out of their facilities in Hollister, California.
JiMari plans to build a portfolio of stone fruit sector companies and other value-added lateral and vertical acquisitions. Following each acquisition, JiMari will serve as the holding company, providing its subsidiaries with the administrative, human resources and management expertise needed to succeed.
"We strive for excellence in everything we do, from acquiring orchards to delivering the final product to customers," said White. "Through acquisitions, we'll be able to gain control over the demand and supply of apricot goods and provide health-conscious consumers with the products they desire."
