After that she made her switch to the insurance industry, where she started out as an office administrator.
Jo Ann learned the insurance business from the ground up, eventually finding her niche as an agent and working her way through the ranks over the years to her present position of President of Merritt Financial. One of the keys to her success has been the personal attention she pays to each and every one of her clients, always giving her all to meet their needs.
Although she has gathered the vast majority of her expertise through her voluminous professional experience, Jo Ann is also a highly educated individual who earned degrees in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
