John Hancock Freedom 529 Climbs College Savings Plan Rankings in Assets, Market Share

BOSTON, Nov. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- John Hancock Freedom 529 rose to the fifth-largest advisor-sold 529 college savings plan provider in terms of assets under management and market share for the third quarter of 2016, up from sixth place in the second quarter[1]. Rowe Price under the direction of the Education Trust of Alaska, has $4.42 billion in assets under management and a market share of 3.9 percent as of September 30, 2016.
