John Knapp Joins David Barrett Partners From Egon Zehnder

NEW YORK, Feb. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- David Barrett Partners (DBP) is pleased to announce that John Knapp has joined the firm as a partner in their New York Office. John will be working closely with the existing DBP team in continuing to build the firm's recruiting presence in the US and international asset and wealth management arenas. He will split his time between New York and Boston. John was most recently based in Egon Zehnder's Boston office, where he was Head of their Asset Management Search Practice for the US and a member of their Global Board and Financial Officers Practice Groups.

John brings over twenty years of financial services and management consulting experience, spending the past decade in investment and wealth management leadership roles. At Egon Zehnder, John's recruiting experience focused on executive leadership, investment management and sales and marketing roles in asset and wealth management and private equity. Prior to Egon Zehnder, he spent six years with Fidelity Investments, most recently as Vice President for Institutional Wealth Services where he was responsible for product development, management and marketing of Institutional Wealth solutions for Fidelity's Registered Investment Advisor business. In addition to his financial acumen, John also brings keen insight and knowledge with his experience as a management consultant, including eleven years at Andersen Consulting and Accenture. John received his MBA from Columbia University and BA from Dartmouth College.
