John Shaw Joins ORSYP To Lead Global Marketing Organization Brings Extensive Product Strategy and International Marketing Experience
PARIS and BOSTON, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ORSYP, a leading provider of IT Operations Management solutions, today announced the appointment of John Shaw as the company's Chief Marketing Officer. In his role Shaw will be responsible for managing ORSYP's global positioning, branding, strategic product marketing, corporate communications and partner marketing. He joins the ORSYP Executive Committee and reports directly to Francois-Xavier Floren, ORSYP Chief Executive Officer.

Shaw brings to ORSYP more than 25 years of experience building enterprise software and networking businesses. Most recently, as VBrick Systems' Chief Operating Officer, he directed all marketing, engineering, manufacturing and support services, establishing the company as the worldwide market share leader in enterprise streaming video solutions. At Cisco Systems Shaw was a member of the leadership team which formulated and executed the company's voice over IP strategy, representing one of Cisco's fastest growing product segments. As VP of Marketing at Summa Four, Shaw helped define and position the company into a new programmable switching industry category, resulting in rapid growth and a successful public offering.
