Jon is a former Partner of Wellington Management Company, LLP, where he served in a variety of management capacities during a 22-year career at the firm. Jon was the President and Board Chair of Wellington's national trust bank subsidiary, Wellington Trust Company, NA, a $25 billion provider of more than 200 commingled investment pools for institutional investors. Jon also led the global expansion of Wellington Management's institutional relationship management function, with more than 100 professionals in five countries serving an array of corporate, philanthropic, and sovereign clients on investment governance and administration matters. As the Director of Corporate Operations for the partnership, Jon assumed responsibility for corporate governance and proxy matters on behalf of clients. With a global team drawn from the firm's investment, relationship management, legal, and operations professionals, Jon chaired a restructured Corporate Governance Committee to revamp and globalize Proxy and Corporate Governance policies and practices, and to elevate engagement with a broad array of stakeholders.
