Jones Apparel Group, Inc. Announces $250 Million Offering of Senior Notes
NEW YORK, May 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jones Apparel Group, Inc. ("Jones") (NYSE: JNY) today announced its intent to commence an offering of $250 million of Senior Notes due 2018. The offering will be made under an effective shelf registration statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The proceeds of the offering will be used for general corporate purposes, including paying the purchase price for the acquisition of Stuart Weitzman Holdings, LLC.
Citi, J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wells Fargo Securities, will serve as Joint Book-Running Managers on this transaction.
