Jones Social PR Announces First Overseas Office And Team Expansion
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jones Social PR (JSPR), a Public Relations and Digital Marketing agency headquartered in Los Angeles, CA is proud to announce that it has opened a second office in Sydney Australia. Founded just under two years ago by Lauren Jones (President) and Nicole Wool (CEO), JSPR is one of the first Southern California based agencies that is a fully hybrid public relations, social media, content creation, and digital marketing house.
As the public relations industry evolves with the influx of social media, Wool and Jones saw an opportunity to create a unique company in which the publicists, social media, and marketing teams, work cohesively and often interchangeably. "Social media and publicity are becoming inextricably intertwined with social media just a more immediate form of public relations," says CEO Nicole Wool. "There's no 'us' and 'them' mentality. Taking the business model to Australia was a logical next step. Jones, a Melbourne native, sees Australia as an untapped market with unlimited potential. Consistent with that strategy, JSPR brought on Australian entertainment and music executive Jessica Staats on board to serve as Vice President of the US office. Staats comes with over ten years of PR experience within America and abroad, and will also manage JSPR's Sydney office. Her clients include Australian international deejays the Stafford Brothers, performer Prinnie Stevens, and director Bonnie Lythgoe. JSPR's Oz-based social media roster includes The Mornington and INXS drummer and co-founder Jon Farriss.

Lauren Jones
The Melbourne native hails from a family of entertainers. Before moving to America, she spent six years in London working with some of the world's biggest brands and celebrities including Victoria's Secret, Kylie Minogue, and Director Hamish Hamilton. In doing so, she developed an expertise in conceptualizing, developing, writing, shooting, editing and managing unique Social Media Content and Platforms. In 2010 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career with celebrity Blogger Perez Hilton as Director of Branding & Social Media Content Producer. In 2012, Lauren co-founded Jones Social Public Relations.
Nicole Wool
The UC Santa Barbara alum graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 2000 at the age of 25. After passing the California Bar on the first try, Nicole spent five years as a litigation attorney specializing in rights of publicity, rights of privacy, defamation, copyright, real estate, and medical malpractice at among the top law firms in California. After several successful years in practice, Nicole transitioned into public relations and took a job at Rousso/Fisher Public Relations (later RFPR) as Public Relations Director. Nicole then went in-house to head up publicity for tattoo removal chain Dr. TATTOFF. In 2008, Nicole started her own agency, the Dossier PR, and merged to form Jones Social PR in 2012.
