Kalmar Investments' Founder Featured at The Advisor MoneyShow Conference
WILMINGTON, Del., Nov. 15, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- Kalmar Investment Advisers, a smaller company institutional manager and advisor to the Kalmar "Growth-with-Value" Small Cap Fund (KGSCX) announced that its founder Ford B. Draper, Jr. will be featured on the Morningstar Undiscovered Fund Managers Panel at The Advisor MoneyShow on November 18th in Orlando.
"I am delighted to participate on the Morningstar panel," said Ford Draper, President and Founder of Kalmar Investments. "With a nearly 30-year history of successfully managing small cap growth portfolios and $3.8 billion in assets, Kalmar is very much a 'discovered manager' in the institutional universe, but we are relatively unknown in the financial advisor community. We have just launched a new initiative to make our mutual fund better appreciated by financial consultants on a national basis, and The Advisor MoneyShow is an excellent opportunity to communicate the Kalmar story to over 1,000 financial advisors," concluded Mr. Draper.
With approximately $267 million of fund assets under management as of September 30, 2010, The Kalmar "Growth-with-Value" Small Cap Fund has been managed by Mr. Draper and Dana F. Walker, CFA since its inception in 1997.
Investors are reminded that all mutual fund investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. Investments in small cap stocks involve greater risks than investments in larger, more established companies because they are generally more volatile and less liquid. Past performance is not necessarily an indication of future results.
