Kim M. Pedersen Joins Hycroft as Managing Director

NEW YORK, March 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hycroft, LLC, a specialty investment bank focused exclusively on the alternative investments market, is pleased to announce that Kim M. Pedersen has joined the Firm as Managing Director.  Mr. Pedersen brings to Hycroft over 17 years of private markets expertise, with strong relationships in the private equity community among both general partners and limited partners in Europe and the US.

At Hycroft Mr. Pedersen will be responsible for originating new business opportunities and marketing private equity products and services to investors located in Northern Europe and in the Western US.

Prior to joining Hycroft, Mr. Pedersen was the founder of Arrow Point Advisors, LLC, which is a boutique advisory and placement firm focused on working with a discreet number of high quality general partners seeking to raise new capital from European-based investors.  Prior to founding Arrow Point, Mr. Pedersen was a Managing Principal of the Park Hill Group, a leading global alternative asset placement agent affiliated with The Blackstone Group.  Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Nordea Private Equity and an Investment Officer at the Washington State Investment Board.

Mr. Pedersen is a Chartered Financial Analyst.  He received a MA in Finance from University of Washington and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Finance from Chapman University.
