Kimberly Ezdebski Named an ASQ-Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence
CONGERS, N.Y., Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Chartwell Pharmaceuticals (www.chartwellpharma.com) is pleased to announce that Kimberly Ezdebski, the Company's Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance, has been named an ASQ (American Society for Quality)-Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence - (ASQ CMQ/OE). With this certification, Ms. Ezdebski has reached a significant level of professional recognition, indicating a proficiency in and a comprehension of quality management principles and practices.
"ASQ provides certification as a way to provide formal recognition to professionals who have demonstrated an understanding of, and a commitment to, quality techniques and practices in their job and career," explains Jim Rooney, ASQ chair. In order to qualify for the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence examination, an individual must have ten years of work experience related to the Body of Knowledge. The Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence is a professional who leads and champions process-improvement initiatives – everywhere from small businesses to multinational corporations – that can have regional or global focus in a variety of service and industrial settings.
Ms. Ezdebski joined Chartwell in June of 2010. With 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, she has held management positions in Quality Assurance for the greater part of her career. Prior to joining Chartwell, Ms. Ezdebski was a Senior Quality Assurance Manager for Teva Pharmaceuticals. Additionally she has worked for Ivax Pharmaceuticals, Barr Laboratories, and Roche. Ms. Ezdebski has had positive interactions with the local FDA offices throughout the years, and is responsible for ensuring that Chartwell's facility is FDA cGMP compliant.
