Kitchology Opens Marketplace for Allergy-Friendly Food Products via Partnership with Tasterie

This union of food technology startups signifies growing demand to serve the food allergy community

GERMANTOWN, Md. and BOXBOROUGH, Mass., Jan. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kitchology, the first mobile app solution designed for cooks managing food allergies, today launched their e-commerce initiative through a partnership with fellow food technology startup, Tasterie, a leading provider of allergy-friendly food subscription boxes. The relationship will further the companies' shared goal to help the 83 million Americans dealing with food allergies and intolerances.

Kitchology aims to overcome food allergies through the power of technology and this new alliance supplies another tool for the arsenal of its user base. The affiliate relationship provides a direct connection from Kitchology's platform to Tasterie's marketplace, which allows consumers to experience new and relevant products each month, including meal and baking mixes, healthy/energy snacks, bars, desserts and more.

Tasterie puts every item through rigorous screening with manufacturers to ensure each is safe and well suited for the food allergy community.  

Tasterie will have a dedicated recipe channel on the Kitchology web and mobile apps as well. Subscribers gain exclusive access to recipes from manufacturers whose items are featured in Tasterie boxes and dishes from consumers who use these products.
