Knowlton Named Norandex President and CEO

HUDSON, Ohio, Jan. 31, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Glenn Knowlton has been named President and CEO of Norandex Building Materials Distribution, Inc. Formerly Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Norandex sister company Saint-Gobain Abrasives, Knowlton takes the lead role at Norandex at an exciting time, as many industry experts predict a market recovery in 2013.

Most recently, Glenn was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for the Saint-Gobain Abrasives business. In this role, Glenn was responsible for leading a sales and marketing organization of more than 400 employees servicing and supporting the industrial, construction, aftermarket and do-it-yourself channels in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Prior to that, Glenn served in various capacities with the Abrasives business, including North America Sales Manager, Director of Marketing, Business Manager, District Sales Manager and Product /Market Manager. In addition to his leadership experience Glenn began his career in direct sales and territory management positions.
