New Social Recruitment Site hires Jobfox and Careerbuilder Veteran

SAN FRANCISCO,  Jan. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- KODA.us, the premier online community for entry level jobs, today announced the selection of Michelle Slagle as the company's COO.  The former Chief Financial Officer for both Jobfox.com and Careerbuilder.com brings more than a decade of online recruiting experience to the helm and nearly twenty years of finance and operations management experience in the high tech industry.

Slagle will also serve as Chief Financial Officer overseeing KODA's finance, accounting and investor relations as well as running the day-to-day operations of the company.  She also becomes a part of the company's executive management team, which directs all aspects of company strategy, planning and development.

Michelle served as CFO of Jobfox for 2.5 years (2004-2007) raising more than $20 million in venture funding and helping launch a grassroots start-up endeavor. Prior to joining Jobfox she held the roles of CFO and VP of Finance at CareerBuilder.com.  During her five-year tenure, Slagle played a key role in taking CareerBuilder public. She was instrumental in the merger activities with CareerPath and Headhunter.net and later in integrating its operations into its acquirers': Knight-Ridder, Inc., Tribune Company and Gannett.  Michelle provided financial and operational leadership in growing the CareerBuilder operations from $7 million to over $150 million.  Most recently, Slagle worked as acting CFO for Sun Energy a waste-to-management start-up initiative in New Orleans.
