
NEW YORK, Aug. 30, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- konsonant/, a boutique one-stop shop for music for Film & TV (www.konsonant.com), announced the winners of its first Sounding Together initiative (STi) | 2011 Indie Fellowship. The STi | Indie Fellowship is an annual opportunity for filmmakers which gives free music licenses to independent filmmakers working on socially conscious films. This year 5 filmmakers were granted this award. In addition, the first prize winner David Goodman will be getting free custom scoring for his documentary 'Singers in the Band.' The second prize winner, Leslie Neale, will receive free music supervision and music editing for her film 'Unlikely Friends.'
