SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) announced today that Koskitukki Oy, a major Finnish wood procurement company, will implement Trimble's LogForce™ forestry transportation planning software. LogForce is a mobile Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that provides logging and transportation contractors and forest companies with the ability to efficiently plan and manage transport within the raw materials supply chain.
LogForce is a key component of Trimble's Connected Forest solutions, which manage the full raw materials lifecycle of planning, planting, growing, harvesting and transport.

The LogForce mobile service is currently used by more than 350 Finnish timber transportation companies.
Koskitukki Oy is Koskisen Group's wood procurement company. The company procures all the wood raw material for Koskisen Group. The annual volume of wood procured is 1.4 million cubic meters. In addition to wood procurement, Koskitukki Oy is responsible for the Group's forest holdings and management of forest areas for a number of private owners.
