According to Grigsby, customer response to the Krewe du Optic line was immediate.

Prescription ready, the polarized lenses are scratch resistant. Treated to allow an optimal balance of light and shade, each pair is made with hand-carved Zyle acetate, strengthening its structure while tailoring for a customized fit. Riveted and barreled hinges provide increased stability. Select styles also feature 24K gold plated hardware.
