ROANOKE, Va., Nov. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR) associates working at Kroger in the West Virginia area have ratified a new labor agreement with UFCW Local 400.

This new contract provides wage increases, affordable health care and investment in our associates' pension fund to support their retirement," said Joe Fey, president of Kroger's Mid-Atlantic division. "This agreement comes after thoughtful and productive work by both the company and union bargaining committees. The contract covers about 4,000 associates working in 39 stores in West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio.
