Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' Fastest Selling Single Ever on the iTunes Store
Hits Number One in 23 Countries, Selling Over 1 Million Tracks in Just Five Days
SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- "Born This Way," the first single and title track from Lady Gaga's hotly anticipated upcoming album, is the fastest selling single ever on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) worldwide, hitting #1 in all 23 countries and selling over one million tracks in just five days.
In addition to breaking the iTunes record this week Lady Gaga gave a spectacular performance of the song on Sunday's Grammy telecast, where she won her 3rd, 4th and 5th Grammys.
Lady Gaga's third full-length album, Born This Way (Streamline/Kon Live/Interscope), is scheduled for release on May 23rd.
