Le partenariat entre l'Alliance Renault-Nissan et Daimler AG poursuit sa progression en 2015 alors qu'il entre dans sa sixième année, ont déclaré aujourd'hui les Présidents Directeurs Généraux des deux entreprises lors de leur point presse annuel au Salon International de l'Automobile de Francfort (IAA).

Selon Carlos Ghosn, Président Directeur Général de l'Alliance « cette collaboration est l'une des plus productive du secteur de l'automobile ».

Lors du lancement de la collaboration entre Daimler et l'Alliance en avril 2010, l'ampleur de celle-ci se limitait à trois projets essentiellement centrés en Europe. Depuis, ce chiffre a plus que quadruplé pour atteindre 13 opérations en Europe, en Asie et en Amérique du Nord et du Sud.
