Center helps patients find appropriate coverage through manufacturer partnerships

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lash Group's ACA Coverage Expansion (ACE) Service Center, the industry's first patient support solution designed to help navigate Affordable Care Act (ACA) - driven resources, has now connected more than 200,000 U.S. patients to healthcare coverage. The ACE Service Center was developed to support patients in securing prescription drug coverage after the passage of the ACA and is one of many Lash Group programs that have collectively helped more than 12 million patients afford and stay adherent to their medications.

The ACE Service Center connects patients with insurance options that provide coverage that is aligned with their current medication therapies. During open enrollment in 2014, 27 percent of the patients who gained coverage through the ACE Service Center transitioned from manufacturer patient assistance programs (PAPs) to a health insurance exchange or Medicaid plan. During the transition period, 100 percent of patients received seamless and uninterrupted coverage in their therapy as ACE partnered closely with the patient, provider and PAP.
