Launch of AIP Advances Represents Major New Innovation in Physical Science Publishing

MELVILLE, N.Y., Nov. 23, 2010 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- AIP Publishing, a division of the American Institute of Physics (AIP), today announced the launch of AIP Advances (aipadvances.aip.org), a fast-track, community-style open access journal, focusing on applied research in the physical sciences.

AIP Advances offers researchers a new way to rapidly and effectively bring their work to the attention of the global physical sciences community.

To celebrate the launch, AIP Publishing is offering free publication to the first 100 authors whose articles are accepted.
