Launch! Real-Life Ad Campaign Seeks A Few (Hundred) Good Men
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area is launching a captivating ad campaign to find several hundred young men who want to help change lives. The non-profit is seeking Bigs for the 800 Littles currently waiting for matches. The inspirational campaign features real life Big/Little matches from across the Bay Area and was created by San Francisco-based The Hive Advertising.
Finding Bay Area Big Brothers has traditionally been difficult, especially in minority communities. The new campaign showcases how simple and rewarding being a Big Brother can be - by doing everyday things together like playing soccer, basketball, or just hanging out at the beach. BBBSBA particularly wants to raise interest in potential Big Brothers who are between 22 and 34 years old.
Kathy Bella, CEO Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area
"Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bay Area has set a 5-year goal of dramatically increasing the number of at-risk children we serve in the five Bay Area counties we serve. We hope this campaign helps potential Bigs understand both the need at hand and the huge personal reward that comes from being a Big Brother."
The campaign which launches throughout September and will appear on TV, radio, digital, print and Out Of Home throughout the Bay Area will run through 2016.
