"Latin America is one of the cornerstones of LAW, and for good reason," says Bill Savarino, LAW's Chairman from Washington, D.C. "It is a place of impressive economic performance and strong opportunity, which is a good match for the many business clients of LAW members. We take great pride in our outstanding LAW members in Latin America, none more so than Lacaz Martins firm in Brazil. It takes a dynamic law firm like Lacaz Martins to meet the diverse legal needs of such a thriving economy. I am not only looking forward to seeing my good friends at Lacaz Martins, I am excited about visiting one of the world's most beautiful cities. If it is good enough to host the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics, no doubt it will be a great venue for the 2011 LAW AGM."
