L.B. Foster Rail Products Facility Receives IndustryWeek 2012 Best Plant Recognition

PITTSBURGH, Sept. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Pittsburgh, PA-based L.B. Foster Company (NASDAQ: FSTR) announced that its CXT^® Concrete Ties facility in Spokane, WA has been selected as a finalist in IndustryWeek magazine's annual 2012 Best Plants Award for Excellence in Manufacturing competition. The publication reported online that North American finalists for this important recognition included the Washington State rail products facility.

The IndustryWeek announcement noted a dedication to continuous improvement and customer service in the high capacity concrete tie facility. "This is the second year in a row that IndustryWeek has recognized an L.B. Foster plant for our company's ongoing commitment to safety, operational excellence and employee wellness.
