LCG Hires Harmer

ATLANTA, Dec. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- LCG Associates, Inc., a national investment consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, has hired Rowan A. Harmer as a Consultant.  He has 10 years of industry experience and is based out of the Atlanta office.  His responsibilities include investment strategy development, manager due diligence, special research projects, and providing investment advice to clients.

Previously, Harmer was an Investment Officer at Cook Children's Health Care System.  He was responsible for assisting the CIO with constructing, managing, and monitoring the endowment portfolio.  This included conducting extensive due diligence on a wide variety of asset classes, analyzing portfolio performance, and reporting the portfolio's results to the Board of Trustees. 

Before working at Cook Children's Health Care System, Harmer was a Senior Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates LLC, where he worked with clients to manage and analyze their investment portfolios.  He started at Cambridge as a Research Associate.

Harmer earned a B.A. in Economics from Washington State University.
