About Le Chateau:
Le Chateau Winery is in the heart of the Walla Walla Valley. Its name, in part, draws inspiration from its fortunate latitude - 46 degrees N - the same latitude that runs between the famed Bordeaux and Burgundy regions of France. The winery's motto 'BORDEAUX LATTITUDE, WALLA WALLA ATTITUDE™' reflects appreciation for fortuitous geography while emphasizing the pure joy of winemaking and adventurous spirit needed to dance with whatever Mother Nature dishes up year after year. That spirit of adventure and the light-hearted "faux chateau" tasting room reflect Le Chateau Winery's serious commitment to making old world style wines with new-world "joie de vivre."
Le Chateau produces two labels; both available through retail stores, wine clubs and online wine venues. CHATEAU WALLA WALLA wines are crafted in very limited quantities from the best vineyard lots in the region, using European, French and American oak. The winery's signature LE CHATEAU brand selects its grapes from throughout Washington State including Wahluke Slope, Horse Heaven Hills, Red Mountain, Columbia Gorge and other AVA's. Le Chateau works with small family growers and favors long-term contracts with dedicated acreage for vineyard continuity and quality.
The Winery's Tasting Room is adjacent to the CHATEAU ROOM which seats up to 50 people for catered and special events. This room is a favorite for its intimate surroundings, ambiance and great acoustics. The winery's larger venue, the CHATEAU WAREHOUSE, which holds up to 300 people for catered and special events, is known for its great stage, roomy interior and energized working winery ambiance; often hosting top local and national musicians and comedy entertainment. Le Chateau is located in an extraordinary zone of wineries near the Walla Walla Airport with over 20 wineries within one square mile. Walla Walla is near the south eastern corner of the state close to the border between Oregon and Washington. "Bordeaux Latitude…Walla Walla Attitude™"
