Leaders from London 2012, RPM, Sense and Mission All Set to Speak at Live Experience Expo 2013

Live Experience invites events professionals from across the UK to take a behind the scenes tour of the biggest events from 2012 and to come with speakers from London 2012 and Glasgow 2014 alongside leading brand specialists including Sense, Mission and RPM.
The programme will be presented in two theatres within the show's confines, the Live Experience Theatre and Brand Activation Arena.
The sports industry will be represented in the Live Experience Theatre with keynote speaker Piers Shepperd, Director at Wonder Works Limited and former Technical Director for the London 2012 opening ceremony, sharing his insights about 'the greatest show on Earth'. Specifically, he will talk about how to ensure success by managing unknowns, scaling up to deliver a mega production and how to get the best out of your contractors.

On Wednesday 20th March, a panel debate 'What's next? Health and safety after London 2012' chaired by Andy Lenthall, General Manager at PSA, looks at new regulations that have been put in place after the Games, how health and safety standards have changed for temporary structures and gives practical advice on ensuring your health and safety standards are up-to-date.
On Thursday 21st March, Arena Group speaks for the first time about the temporary overlay it provided for the London 2012 beach volleyball. Take a virtual trip behind the scenes of the Horse Guards Parade beach volleyball stadium with an insider's view of London 2012 Olympics iconic temporary venue.
Also on Thursday, a panel including Paul Pike from Intelligent Venue Solutions, Denzil Thomas from Billington Cartmell Music and Laura Moody from Blondefish share their insights about how RFID and NFC can enhance an event, establishing better connections between brands and their consumers throughout the year.

On Tuesday, Sense gives an insight into how its clients BSkyB and Coca-Cola use experiential marketing in contrasting ways to fulfil brand objectives, sharing opinions of how greater sophistication in evaluation and measurement is driving exponential growth in the UK experiential marketing industry.
On Wednesday, Creative agency Mission and technology specialist Bluman Associates take visitors behind the scenes of the Nokia Lumia series of events which all featured visually spectacular production, explaining how the original brand brief from Nokia was translated.
On Thursday Rory Sloan and Tim Jones from RPM give practical advice on how to convert inspiration into ideas of value, arguing that there is no such thing as original ideas, only the original application of ideas.
The exhibition will take place from the 19th - 21st March at ExCeL London alongside International Confex. Brand new feature, The Live Lounge is also located within Live Experience and will showcase brand new hologram technology from Musion Systems and The Next Big Thing competition, a talent search for the industry's best corporate entertainment act.
