Leading Banking and Financial Services Partner Joins Morrison & Foerster
WASHINGTON, Jan. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Morrison & Foerster LLP announced today that Charles M. Horn has joined the firm's Financial Services group as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office. He represents domestic and global financial services firms of all sizes on regulatory matters, including those affecting their organization, structure, governance, management and operations. Mr. Horn has extensive experience in the development of new capital markets instruments and other financial products and services. He also advises financial institutions on transactional matters, including offerings and acquisitions.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Horn was a partner of Mayer Brown LLP, where he was the co-head of that firm's financial services regulatory practice. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of the Securities and Corporate Practices Division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and as a Branch Chief of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Horn has been recognized by the Chambers guide and IFLR 1000 as a leading financial services regulatory lawyer.
